Hey Hey Hey!
Its been a loong day. Had the privileged to read 18 mins of productivity to refresh my concept of time management.
Day 4
Get some fresh air! If you're feeling unispired or simply tired, step outside or open a window.
A little Breeze can do wonders for your mental health and clarity.
Today was really a slow day yet busy day. I read the 18min.... book initially because I thought I can use some time management. don't you feel like you have a lot of time spent but nothing is out? nothing great you have produced?
I feel that sometime and especially when you are overwhelmed by tasks and obligation you tend to continue running and not stop for a breather?
I think the book and today's Card selection is a good reminder for me to stop and refresh. sometimes letting our mind run before us isn't a good habit.
Momentum is hard to resist. It hard to stop something especially when you have put in time and effort building it.
But to be in the now, or living yourself, we need to slow down & start over.
Its good to slow down. Listen, observe before we make harsh decision. Take a deep breath, give your front cortex a chance to voice out! Don't let your emotions run your decision. They're often not logical.
Start over slowly, internally. think for a minute if you would have done this from the beginning?
Reducing our forward momentum is the first step to freeing ourselves from our limits.
In Short. Pause. Breathe. Act.
A brief pause in life will help us make smarter moves.
Time to Act. Managing time requires a ritual to practice.
Create a to do and Ignore list. and get in action
Form a Ritual:
1) Set the plan with specific WHEN & WHERE
We will only act with clarity.
2) Refocus- Set an alarm to ring every hour, so you'll be reminded to breathe and reflect on the schedule whether is this working or not or should you shuffle around the plans
3)Review- Review whats good and bad!
In all If you don't love yourself enough to treasure your time, how the hell you gonna love somebody else?
